About Riano Law
Personal attention, practical solutions, and a cross-cultural perspective for individuals, families, investors, and businesses throughout Florida.
Our purpose
Riano Law was founded by Attorney Kathy Riano-Lopez to provide clear, experienced legal guidance in a more personal setting.
The firm advises clients across immigration, estate planning, business and corporate law, family law, real estate, and HOA and condominium disputes. Across each practice, the goal is the same: understand the client’s full picture, communicate clearly, and develop a practical legal path forward.
As a first-generation immigrant licensed in Florida and Colombia, Kathy brings a perspective shaped by different legal systems, cultures, and life experiences. That perspective informs the firm’s commitment to bilingual, culturally aware service.

How we work
Every engagement begins with the client’s priorities, circumstances, and definition of a successful path forward.
The firm considers how a legal decision may intersect with family, assets, business, status, or long-term plans.
Clients receive direct, practical guidance in English or Spanish, without unnecessary complexity.
Thoughtful preparation and attention to detail support confident decision-making.
